Showing the Love of Christ Amid Devastation

Hurricane Dorian devastated our brothers and sisters in the Bahamas on September 1.
Many of us in America only know the Bahamas as a vacation paradise. But the majority of these island residents live in poverty. Their modest homes were easily destroyed, and they desperately need our help.

This weekend, Oct. 12-13, a second collection for these hurricane victims will be taken at Mass.
If you prefer to donate with a check, please make it payable to St. Joseph Church and write the word Hurricane in the memo.

This is our chance to share the love of Christ in a tangible way.
Let's all be as generous as we can.

YFF Recognition

On Sunday, Sept. 29, Father Urban presented the new teachers for the Youth Faith Formation, and also honored Diane Garrett for her 43 years of service. Chris Jerrells, will be the new Director of Religious Education, replacing Robin Giroux who was the DRE for about 15 years, and also taught Bible Study for many years before that.

The entire church community thanks both Robin and Diane for their many years of faithful service and dedication to our young people. And, our church thanks the new volunteers who have come forward to take their place in providing religious instruction and guidance to our church’s students.
