My name is Terry James Marmion. I'm a seminarian for the Diocese of Belleville, Ilinois, and I'm in Pre-Theology 2. I'm originally from North Carolina, but after college, I moved to Carbondale, IL, to work as the campus minister at Southern Illinois University Carbondale Newman Center. I spent four years working at the Newman, helping the students grow deeper in their faith in God. I felt a call to the priesthood through much prayer and thought in my last year at the Newman Center. While in the Diocese of Belleville, I fell in love with the people there and knew that was where God called me to serve as a priest.
